Enter the Producer's Guild Short Film Festival
Greetings fellow
filmmakers!
Just after our most recent screening for the 48-Hour Film Festival
comes another opportunity we suggest you don't miss. The Producers
Guild (www.Producersguild.org)
is sponsoring a Short Film Festival as part of their Produced By
Conference on June 5 through the 7th in Los Angeles. This is an
amazing opportunity to gain exposure in front of actual producers
who can make a difference.
The film call for entry deadline is June 1st.
Here's the text from the www.Producedbyconference.com website:
"The Producers Challenge
gives short film and webisode producers ultimate access to top
professionals and the opportunity to win exceptional prizes.
Finalists will have their work judged by top producers and screened
at the Produced By Conference on June 6th.
The competition is divided into three categories – narrative short
films, documentary short films, and webisodes. Prizes include a
mentoring lunch with a mega-producer, such as Gale Anne Hurd (The
Incredible Hulk, Terminator), Marshall Herskovitz (Blood Diamond,
The Last Samurai) or Mark Gordon (2012, Grey’s Anatomy), an
all-session access badge to the 2010 Produced By Conference,
equipment for future projects and much more!"
The deadline is fast approaching, so get your entries in now! Also,
if you can swing it, attend the Produced By Conference. Just see
this link for the seminars available over the three day
event!

You've already made a great film sometime over the past year, so
why not expose it to some big names! Good luck!
